First battery-powered self-propelled shredder
The Prof 6 e-power gets its energy from a 48 V, 7 kW Li-Ion battery from Vanguard. The autonomy of the VanguardTM battery allows it to shred several full trailers of pruning waste, which far exceeds the workload of the average garden. Thanks to the efficiency of the electric motor, the Prof 6 e-power surpasses the performance of its gasoline variant. The Prof 6 is standard equipped with the ELIET EcoEyeTM system, which switches the electric motor off as soon as it is no longer shredding. The machine wakes up automatically as soon as the operator presents himself again with fresh greenwaste to shred. This allows the batteries’ energy to be used in the most efficient way and maximizes autonomy.
The Prof 6 e-power can reduce branches up to 10 cm diameter and is available in a self-propelled version on wheels and on tracks. The ELIET blade system is accessible for inspection and maintenance in less than 30 sec. without tools.
A truly compact adventurer
With an overall width of only 83 cm, the Prof 6 e-power will easily fit into every corner of the garden and pass through even the narrowest gates without any problems. Its hydraulic traction system also allows for special comfort when handling in tight areas by precisely dosing the necessary traction force, all without jerks. Thanks to this transmission by two hydraulic motors, there is little chance of a wheel spinning on a greasy and wet surface, as the tractive force is transmitted in a balanced manner to each wheel, so the grip is superior and with no differential effect.
This advantage is particularly justified when crossing wet lawns in winter, there is little marking on the ground and little suction effect generated by the wheels.
Finally, in the Cross-Country version, the Prof 6 e-power will easily overcome protruding edges and a few obstacles such as steps and walk stably through all the uneven areas of the wildest gardens. The prof 6 e-power benefits from all the technologies inherited from the gasoline versions, including the cutting principle but above all a design allowing it to swallow volume without any particular effort.
Thanks to a large and open hopper, the gardener can easily introduce large quantities of material to be shredded without having to reduce it. The clever design of its feeder hopper does not include any reduction in width up to the branch feeder, which makes it much easier for the user to introduce forked or completely twisted branches. No more unnecessary effort to direct irregular or very flexible branches to the branch feeder, which is as wide as the introduction hopper.

A cutting system that leaves no chance for the unruliest plants
The Prof 6 e-power uses ELIET’s patented cutting system, i.e. 24 triangular knives that will completely slice the material into fine aesthetic chips, and will also reduce the foliage into micro-particles. This perfect grinding residue will not take long to be composted since it has been sliced multiple times in the direction of the fibers, which will overcome the problem of the accumulation of volume of chips from year to year.
These finely chopped shavings can also be cleverly reused as decorative layer in flower beds.
Born to Eliminate the Most Fearsome Essences
Coming from a long line of shredders for green waste, the Prof 6 delights with the most problematic garden species. Where many competitors give up due to systematic jamming or the impossibility of reducing sensitive plants such as bamboo, ivy, laurel or the year’s maintenance pruning of conifers, the Prof 6 outdistances its rivals by its ability to absorb and completely grind wet, bushy, structureless, or even strongly deciduous plants.
Everything that goes into the Prof 6 e-power comes out completely shredded, and with disconcerting ease, all without blockage and permanent traffic jam in the evacuation nozzle.
The unique patented cutting system, which is effective in all circumstances, makes ELIET shredders the undisputed allies of gardeners. In its e-power version, the Prof 6 uses a high engine torque that allows it to resist more effort even more on the soft and wet material in order to evacuate it brilliantly thanks to its side turbine which will create a perfect air current. In this way, the shredded material will be perfectly reduced and propelled out of the shredding chamber by its large impeller and its 280° rotatable evacuation pipe.
In addition to its high torque, the Prof 6 e-power is equipped with an electronic anti-bock system (ABMTM), which allows it to briefly interrupt the feed roller feed to the grinding chamber when the motor is under heavy load and a sudden drop in engine speed could jeopardise chip evacuation. In this way, the machine will adapt its own speed to the workload in a fully automatic manner in order to avoid unpleasant jams and blockages.
No tools required
Of course, this jamming inconvenience can also occur occasionally, the important thing is to limit the loss of time and the search for tools. To facilitate this access to the cutting parts, ELIET has equipped the Prof 6 with a wide access hatch to the grinding chamber, which is simply locked by a clamping wheel and a safety switch. The branch feeder can also be raised and locked in its maximum position to provide maximum access for cleaning and maintenance of the various components. This set of features requires less than 30 seconds to be accessible, while not using any tools, to provide the user with broad and immediate access.
Quietness and economy combined with grinding efficiency
Grinding with the Prof 6 e-power is quite troubling for the uninitiated, you suddenly have to get used to a very low noise level, which results in the operator wondering if he still needs his hearing protection… The comfort of the electric motor immediately impresses the user compared to a version equipped with a combustion engine.
Economy and performance can also be combined when using the Prof 6 e-power, especially when the material to be shredded is very far from the machine or when the user is distracted by a phone call. After 20 seconds of inactivity, the motor no longer senses any effort or the presence of its user in the grinding area and will place the machine to automatically go into standby. This intelligent device called “ECO EYETM” with which the Prof 6 e-power is equipped as standard consists of an infrared eye that constantly detects the presence or absence of the user, and allows the Prof 6 e-power to temporarily turn off in order to preserve its battery and not to operate unnecessarily.
The result during this temporary inactivity is a great and perfect silence, but all good things must come to an end: When the operator puts away his smartphone, wear on his protective gloves and approaches the machine with a handful of branches, Prof 6 automatically starts up again and resumes his original working rhythm.
This “ECO EYETM” feature has been used in other ELIET professional shredders for a long time, and coupled with an exemplary reduction in noise pollution, is particularly attractive to users who have to shred long hours and who are sensitive to their physical condition.

Simple and intuitive operation
The Prof 6 e-power has been designed for users, and thanks to users.
All controls such as traction handles, feed roller engagement lever and emergency stop device are within easy reach in an ergonomic environment. The dashboard furnished with a few LED indicators contains the essential information for the operation of the machine as well as a gauge of the energy remaining in the battery.
In the event of an almost completely discharged battery, the branch feeder will stop working and an indicator light will indicate to the user that it is now time to move the machine closer to its charging area. There will be enough energy left to leave the work area and load the Prof 6 e-power in its van or trailer, or to move it closer to an outlet and its assigned battery charger.
The instrument panel also features a switch that allows the user to select the speed of the electric motor in three different speeds. The first two modes are used to move the machine safely, such as unloading it from a vehicle and gently driving it to its work area, and the last mode dedicated to grinding at full speed. Only this third mode allows the use of the powerful branch feeder device.
Moving the machine intelligently and with increased silence is also in the DNA of the Prof 6 e-power.
